"At the edge of Daniels Creek on the north side we found a gated road with a For Sale sign tossed down beside it.  It was obviously private and obviously not often used.  The sign said, "For Sale, all or part.  One mile of ocean front property."  We went down this road.  There were a couple of cleared lot areas for home sites and much of the Daniels valley had been logged in the last five years or so--although it had at least been done selectively.  The road T'd with an older road which went down & crossed Daniels creek and then up to a wide open flat area tucked in to the south of the promontory on the south side of Daniels creek.  There a rope had been hung to get down to the little cove beach at the base of the promontory.  The drop is about 150-200 feet & not quite straight down."
